Have you ever had your students look up in the sky and just wonder what is with the clouds looking like different shapes and colors? I have a great Get Outside EDU for you today that you can do on any device.
1. Head over to IFTTT. Out of their growing set of recipes every day they keep a weather recipe. This recipe can either send you an email or upload the daily weather report to your google drive. Set this recipe up so you can have a daily log of the weather.
2. Next, have students go outside or have them look at the clouds around them and take a few snap shots of them with their mobile devices. Do a web search on what types of clouds they are and what they can do.
3. After a few days, compare the weather reports with the clouds that were seen on those days and have students compare how those clouds in the sky effect: temperature, rain, ect.
