2 iPads, 2 Chromebooks and an App Smash

I was catching up with a former coworker of mine and she told me she had two classroom iPads and two chromebooks for her classroom and didn’t know how to use them together. Of course, it took me less than a minute for me to think of something using my favorite App, Stick Around, Ed Puzzle, Google Drive and all four devices. The teacher starts by first creating an Ed Puzzle Video about the differences and similarities between the two devices. Students then watch and take their Ed Puzzle Quiz on their chromebooks. Afterwards they will create a list of how they can use both devices together through a Google Form on the chromebooks. After that, they go to their iPads and access the Form through Google Drive and then create a Venn Diagram puzzle in Stick Around about what each device can do and what they can do together. This will teach students the strengths of both their devices and how they can better use them in the classroom for learning through the Stick Around Puzzle. Give it a try today and start Tech Smashing those devices.
